Microgrid BESS

Grid-tied renewable energy solutions typically use fossil fuel gensets to augment the power required during time periods when insufficient power is generated from the renewable energy source (blackout periods).

EV Fast Charging

EV Fast Charging Stations are expected to grow exponentially over the foreseeable future to facilitate the expected demand from mass consumer adoption. The grid won't be able to keep up with peak power demand therefore requiring the use of energy storage to offload demand during peak power periods.

Why Graphene Solid State Battery?

Graphene structure illustration

Energy storage applications are growing exponentially as the world moves away from fossil fuel dependence. This in turn is driving the development of devices with greater energy density and higher performance. The use of graphene in energy storage devices is transforming the sector, from its use in solid state battery to applications in electrochemical batteries.

Graphene has a number of unique properties. Its tensile strength is 200 times that of steel; it is 1000 times lighter than paper; its thermal conductivity is three times that of a diamond; and it is a superconductor at normal temperatures with transmission rates far faster than other conductors.

Graphene is made up of films just one carbon atom thick, and with its large specific surface area, excellent conductivity, and honeycomb-like structure, it is the ideal material for battery applications.
